i have a crate,it have a sweet sound and i like it...but i am thinking of getting an marshall those amps kick ass!

traynor bass mate 50. yea i know it sucks. especially when you turn the volume up high and its all distorted.

I don't gig, so I just play thru a practice amp. A cheap ass Rogue 50 watt I got at Musicianbs Friend for $90. Hell, it sounds good and plays loud enough to get the cops here on a Saturday night. It has a nice effects loop too.
If I had a fatter wallet, I'd get an SWR 15 inch. Again, for practice. I played thru them at the shop and it kicked ass from low end to high.

Laney RBG 400 combo www.laney.co.uk/html/RBG400_Pix.htmSweet sound though a bit boomy if you use the low shaping and boost the lows on the EQ as well, but it can likely be fixed. Don't know for sure though as with the GT-6B, I have the EQ on the amp flat. |
