I love Flechters guitar sound, I know i cant get it without the right equipment. but what setting does he use? (bass treble bla bla bla) how does he get his PMutes to ring out so good. when when a root on th a string and PM it, its sounds weak. but some how he gets em all to ring out......ok i plrobably confused you all...sorry.

Fisrt off, i love pennywise. LOTS.
Randy and fletcher didnt use any effects on Land of the Free?, but im not sure about the other albums for fletcher, although i am 99% sure randy hasnt ever used effects for PW. One thing i noticed with fletcher is that the guitar always sounds 'heavier' and 'bigger' if you know what i mean. The guitar, especially on LotF?, just sounds really fat and chunky, but i cant really help ya much.

yeah i know they hardly ever use effects. i was asking the amp settings. but someone at MX gave em to me:
Gain:7 Contour: 5-6 Low:6 Med:4-5 High:6-7
im not sure if they work cause i havnt had the chance to try em out yet.

hey if anybodies lookin for that chunky, crunchy fletcher sound, forget the above sttings, those suck, use these:
Bass:5 Mid:1 (low Mid is important) Treble:8 Presence:5 Gain:9-10
those help, but useing soft picks and having nice pikups is essential also...
