streamer standards have passive pickups tho dude  i have passive pickups in my Ibanez, but it has an active EQ that makes up for it.... if i was gonna buy a warwick, id want the active pickups AND eq |

hell yes, a huge difference active pickups amplify your sound once before its sent to your amp...so your signal is ampped twice so to speak go to a guitar store sometime and pick up a regular fender jazz bass, then pick up a deluxe active jazz bass and see the difference its very much worth it to have active pickups  |
