Bad Horror Movie= Ancient Evil.
It wasn't the bad kind of horror movie where it's so unrealistically gory it just becomes funny. But Ancient Evil is neither scary nor funny. It was about this group of college students who discovered this Aztec mummy and there was a curse and surprise surprise someone sets the curse off and the mummy starts to reek havoc, while the students are on campus by themselves at night. Anyway, the students find out that the blood of a virgin will bring back an Aztec rain god who is supposed to bring the end of the world. (Honestly...A rain god as the cause of the end of the world? God of Chaos, yes. Blood god,definitely... but RAIN?!) So anyway all the students get killed by a slow, FAT mummy. (Incidentally he has a *magic* knife, as NO BLOOD appears on the blade EVER. God, way to edit.) And it turns out that the school nerd is the one who summoned the mummy, to get revenge on all the meanies who picked on him. (Gasp. Didn't see that one coming. What a pinnacle of originality this movie is.) In the end, the school stud/hunk/all around mr perfect saves innocent virgin girl from getting sliced and diced by Fatso-in-bandages and bitter-dweeb-boy, turning the mummy against the one who initially summoned him. (What a twist huh?) Then there was this random ending- something about how it wasn't over, (WHEN IT WAS!!!) and then they walk off screen, with the heroine supporting the injured hero. And lest I forget, it was raining throughout the whole movie, going back to the whole rain god thing, plus thunder to make it scarier.
I have seen MANY a bad movie... but I was literally in tears after wasting 80 minutes of my life watching THAT @$*!&@*%&*#&%*@&$)!*@(%^ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
