you guys have to see it. not only so you can witness how beautiful the country where i live is, but it's one of the best movies i have ever seen. the effects are amazing and gandalf should get an award or something for his acting. blah! all of actors were great.
but if you're a die-hard tolkien fan, i dunno if you'll like is as much as i did cos i actually haven't read the books.
but go see it anyways. it's worth it.

its a book there are 6 books in all 3 to this one they filmed all at one time its really good its worth the 8.50$  8) |

i saw it. i like. which part was your country? the elf place? and what country do you live in again? ;D i live in new zealand in the capital city, wellington. well from what i remember in the movie, the scene where arwen is in the river and says, 'if you want him come and claim him' that was filmed here, and the horse riding scene when she's being chased by the ring wraths(whatever they are) that whole landscape was shot here. a lot of the fighting scenes were shot here. the indoor sets were built and shot here. that's all i can remember cos i don't even recognise half the places! the other bits were shot in remote locations. |

hahaha....yes just picture a person with a sheet over them acting all weird and doing funny arm movements. i probably looked more like a ghost than a ring wrath.
oh yes i found out another scene that was filmed in wellington: rivendale? is that what it's called? it was filmed here, and the scene where the hobbits are collecting mushrooms on the road and frodo tells them to get off the road, that was here too.
