I never really got in to skateboarding guess i was to lazy and i dont usually enjoy doing something thats as trendy as skateboarding is now. But ive discovered that its very fun. I got a pretty good feel for my board. and now im attempting to ollie. Man this is harder than it looks! I've read all the sites tips and watched all the videos on ollieing but I can't seem to get the back wheels off the ground. Im not sure if im doing right. can someone explain how to do this in detail? thanks

no there isn't here's what you do
1.  Place your back foot so the upper 1/3 of your foot is on the tail of the board and your front foot about in the middle of the board

2.  pop up while jumping simultaneously and slide your front foot towards the screws near the front then push your front foot down when you're in the air

a is where you kick down and start bringing your front foot up

b is where you're still bringing your feet up

c is where you start to push down with your FRONT foot

well i dont know if this is going to help but i just went skating with my friend and he told me a little secret that believe it or not i never knew before. you have to jump when doing it. i am such an idiot for not knowing it but now i can do an ollie. thumbs up

the ollie is like the hardest trick to learn because its so complex but all you have to do stand like this |----|--- (| represents feet)then all you do is crouch down quite far and then stamp down on the tail whilst sliding your front foot up the board whilst alsojumping as high as you can(try and tuck your knees into your chest to get more height) and when you and board have left the ground the board should level out if youve slid youre foot far enough up and try to land as smooth as possible by putting arms out the keep balenced and bend your knees on landing.

yeah i cant believe i didnt know to jump. i was with my fried one day and he said, "youre doing it right, but you need to jump." now im working on a rolling ollie which is a bitch
